Her work is grounded in collaboration—helping clients not only gain insight, but also develop and practice evidence-based skills to support meaningful, lasting change.
She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and integrates these approaches within a person-centered framework that honors each client as the unique individual they are.
In addition to her clinical work, Laura provides supervision to clinicians within the practice, supporting their professional growth while ensuring thoughtful, high-quality care for clients. Outside of RGW Laura works as an Adjunct Instructor in the M.A. in Clinical Mental Health graduate program at the University of Saint Joseph.
With a Farmington, CT office, telehealth availability, and a growing team at Rose Growth & Wellness, Laura is committed to creating a supportive, grounded space where clients can move toward their goals.
Tamara Chuchoro, LPC-A
Counselor
I work with adolescents (14+) and adults who may appear put together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck internally. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, the impact of past experiences, relationship stress, or life transitions. I also support individuals from diverse and multicultural backgrounds, including those exploring identity and acculturation.
Many clients reach out when these challenges begin to feel difficult to manage alone. I provide a supportive space to slow down, process what they are experiencing, and develop a deeper understanding of their patterns. Over time, clients often feel more grounded, confident, and clear in how they move forward.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, and trauma-informed care. I support clients in building insight, strengthening coping skills, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
If you are looking for a space where you can feel understood and supported without judgment, I invite you to take the next step when you feel ready.
